Just tried for the first time tonight after hearing a couple of people, well, reading Facebook. The prices are amazing and the food is excellent. We ordered five different subs and we all shared a bit and not one was just ok, all were great. Next on to the pizzas and donairs next time. They're about an hour and twenty from us but we'll worth it.
Ordered some Mama's magic fingers. They were loaded with lots of donair sauce on the side. It's like eating a pizza without the sauce but on garlic fingers. 18"
These five stars are for the subs. I typically consider the atmosphere and service in my ratings, but I want to focus solely on the amazing subs they create. The sub sandwich I had was the freshest and cheesiest I've ever experienced. We also ordered a BBQ chicken pizza; the crust was to die for, but unfortunately, the chicken wasn't fresh. The sauce had a bit of a smoky flavor, which made it an unremarkable choice of topping. I will definitely return for the sake of the sub! The atmosphere of the restaurant is okay, but it’s a bit old and could use a significant renovation. The service was good, and I appreciate that they are an environmentally friendly place— all their utensils and plates are plastic-free.
Last of a dieing breed, they use the actual donair meat and not that process junk. Food reminded me of home, and the lady there was so sweet and very helpful. They are now my favorite pizza place in Kingston.
We were in town for a hockey tournament and Aurora Inn recommended this place for our team dinner. The pizza here is amazing. I, for one, will not be able to enjoy another pizza unless it’s from here. I also want to highlight that the service is excellent! Our 10 boxes of pizza were delivered 30 minutes earlier than expected. Thank you so much for accommodating our team!
